Carmina Burana Saturday, May 2, and Sunday, May 3, 2015, 7:30 p.m. Lorimer Chapel Colby College Chorale and Colby-Kennebec Choral Society Nicola´s Alberto Dosman, director Colby College Symphony Orchestra Stan Renard, conductor Jami Leonard, soprano Micheal Albert, tenor Alexander Hurd, baritone The Colby College Chorale and Colby-Kennebec Choral Society will join the Colby Symphony Orchestra to close Colby’s musical season with a glorious performance of Carmina Burana by Carl Orff. Carmina Burana is a scenic cantata composed by Orff in 1935 and 1936, based on 24 poems from the medieval collection Carmina Burana.
